The pandemic was a watershed moment for me.
It was the start of my Caribbean journey and, more importantly, I learned that I needed rest, without really knowing that I needed it, what it felt like, or even what it looked like.
For the first time in my adult and working life, everything stopped. I was forced to be present. To spend time with my family. To think differently about what a successful life actually meant.
That experience changed my perspective. I began to believe that rest, wellbeing, time with the people we love and the experiences that shape our lives shouldn't simply happen when circumstances allow. They should be intentional. They should be built into the fabric of how we live.
Le Haus grew from that idea. Not simply as somewhere to travel, but as a way of creating more space in our lives for the things that matter. And not just for me. For my family. For others. And ultimately, for a community of people who believe the same.
